👥 Our Team
We are an educational excellence center at Quinnipiac University that aims to improve teaching and learning across all course formats. Our team comprises experts in learning design, media, technology, teaching, and educational development, all working together to promote innovative pedagogical strategies and technology to create engaging and effective educational experiences.
🗺️ Our Mission
Our guiding mission is to develop and continuously refine curricula that cater to the needs of today's dynamic learning environments. By promoting a culture of innovation and inclusive teaching, we help faculty adopt evidence-based educational practices that are both forward-thinking and adaptable.
🌟 Our Impact
QILT is a part of the larger Academic Affairs division in the Office of the Provost.
In support of creating a dynamic and supportive community for Quinnipiac educators, QILT includes faculty initiatives such as the Quinnipiac University Writing and Critical Thinking (QUWACT) program, Inclusive Excellence in Teaching Lab (IETL), and the contributions of faculty fellows in academic affairs.
Our work, along with these initiatives, promotes excellence and fosters an academic environment that values collaboration, sharing of best practices, and continual improvement.
