Quinnipiac Innovations in Learning and Teaching (QILT) is an educational excellence center that aims to improve teaching and learning across all formats - online, in-person, and hybrid. We collaborate with faculty members from all nine schools and colleges, assisting a diverse range of departments and programs in enhancing their instructional practices and enriching student learning experiences.
In support of creating a dynamic and supportive community for Quinnipiac educators, our unit also includes faculty initiatives such as the Quinnipiac University Writing and Critical Thinking (QUWACT) program, Inclusive Excellence in Teaching Lab (IETL), and the contributions of faculty fellows in academic affairs. These initiatives promote excellence and foster an academic environment that values collaboration, sharing of best practices, and continual improvement.

How We Can Help
Our services include expert-led Course Reviews that adhere to Quality Matters and QU standards, offering actionable insights for educational excellence, Course Redesign to refresh and improve existing curricula, and Course Design for creating engaging new courses or transitioning them online. Additionally, our Learning Media service enhances course materials with specialized media and tools. We also offer services for Program Design/Operations and Programming and Training, which focus on developing sustainable and efficient educational programs and customized faculty development on specific topics using evidence-based practices.
We ensure inclusivity in our work through Accessibility Reviews that optimize courses for Universal Design for Learning.
