YuJa Video is a robust academic video platform with features to create, manage, and engage with multimedia content directly within our learning management system, supporting deeper learning and instructional innovation.
Instructors can use YuJa Video to enrich their courses through a variety of multimedia tools and integrations, including:
- Lecture Capture and Screen Recording: Instructors can use YuJa Software Capture or Browser Studio to record lectures, tutorials, or demonstrations from their computer. These recordings can include video, audio, screen content, and annotations.
- Interactive Quizzes: YuJa enables instructors to embed quiz questions directly into videos, transforming passive viewing into active learning. These playback quizzes can be used formatively or linked to Canvas Assignments for grading.
- Video Discussions and Student Submissions: YuJa supports asynchronous video discussions, allowing students to post video responses and engage in threaded conversations. It can also be used for video-based assignments and presentations.
- Closed Captioning and Accessibility: Auto-captioning features help ensure all videos are accessible.
- Embedded Playback and Analytics: Videos can be embedded into Canvas Pages, Assignments, Quizzes, and Announcements using the Rich Content Editor (RCE), with integrated analytics for tracking student engagement.
