Creating a Graded VoiceThread Assignment

1. Navigate to the “Assignments” area of your course.
2. Create a new assignment by using the blue "+ Assignment" button in the top right.
3. Name the assignment and write a description if you choose. Indicate points and the assignment group this should belong to.
4. Under Submission Type, select “External Tool” from the drop-down menu.
5. Click on the “Find” button.
6. Click on “VoiceThread.”

The “Choose an activity type” screen will appear. Select “Assignment Builder” and then decide whether it should be a Create, Comment, or Watch assignment.

Adding an Ungraded VoiceThread to a Module

If you want to add an ungraded VoiceThread to a module, select the “+” at the top of the module, select “External Tool” from the drop-down menu, and select “VoiceThread”
