Joel VannerCourses are created in Canvas and assigned the dates of the term automatically. There may be some cases where you need to change the run dates of your course (FA25 ends July 3, which is a Thursday, but you would like to make it July 4 to line up with the other deadlines in your course) which you can do in the Settings area of your course, under “Course Details.”
Change the “Participation” to be “Course” and then adjust the dates as needed.
