- Dismiss or Exclude Files from a Course Accessibility Report: Instructors can dismiss (temporary) or exclude (permanent) files from their course’s accessibility report. If a file is dismissed, it will return to the report the next time it’s generated.
- New Accessibility Checks:
- PowerPoint transitions: Rapid flashing, strobe effects, and aggressive or high-motion slide transitions are now detected by Panorama, helping instructors make their presentations accessible and safe to watch for all viewers.
- Empty tag and blank content containers: Empty paragraph tags and blank content containers are now flagged by Panorama so instructors can remove them from the document’s tag tree.
- Step-by-Step Document Replacement Guidance: Panorama will now guide instructors step-by-step how to replace a document in their course through the Panorama interface.
- Preserved Alt Text for Tables in PDFs After Retagging: Panorama will now automatically restore existing alt text and accessibility descriptions for tables after a PDF is reprocessed through the Panorama interface. Instructors no longer need to manually re-enter information for table elements after a reprocessing.
