As an instructor in a course (formally called “Teacher” in Canvas), you are able to add users with a number of different roles, one of them being “Librarian.” The librarian role was created for use by QU library staff who make contributions to course materials and engage with students in the course through groups and discussions.
What permissions does the role have? What permissions does the role not have?
Select a course area below to see what the librarian role can and cannot do in your course.
The librarian role has no access to course analytics and reports.
How can I add a librarian to my course?
The steps for adding a librarian to your course are the same as any other user you might add. Follow the steps here →
Who can I reach out to with questions?
