- Open the course youād like to add a course banner or course card photo to in Blackboard.
- From the āDetails & Actionsā section, under āCourse Imageā, select āEdit display settingsā.
- From the sidebar that appears, select the image icon.
- In the āInsert imageā window, select āUpload fileā.
- Find the image youād like to use as your course banner or course card photo. Select āUploadā.
- Confirm that the image displayed is the correct image. Select āNextā.
- Scale the image, if needed, and select āSaveā.
For Blackboard Ultra, the ideal course banner size is at least 1200 x 240 pixels - designed in 4800 x 960 size - with the main content kept in the center of the banner. More information can be found here.
- The sidebar will now show your selected image. Select āSaveā to publish your changes.
- The page will reload and your course banner will appear. The course card image will be visible on the āCoursesā page when the gallery view is selected.
