The instructions in this article do not pertain to courses in Blackboard Ultra. Instructions for Blackboard Ultra can be found here.
- Open the course you’d like to add a course banner or course card photo to in Blackboard.
- From the left sidebar, drop down the options for “Customization” and select “Teaching Style”.
- Course banner settings are located in the “Select Banner” section. Select “Browse Local Files” to attach the banner file and select “Upload” to confirm. When you’re ready to publish your changes, select “Submit”.
- A confirmation banner will appear to confirm your changes.
For Blackboard Learn, the ideal course banner size is no larger than 1000 x 150 pixels - with the main content kept in the center of the banner. More information can be found here.
