Multiple Answer Question Feedback

Instructors can now provide feedback for each answer choice in multiple-answer questions. Students can view answer feedback after completing the quiz.

Canvas New Quizzes interface for creating a multiple-answer question (Question 14), with fields for question title, question stem, and four answer options; first two answers are selected. A red arrow highlights the comment icon next to one answer. Options below include “Show on-screen calculator” and “Shuffle Choices.”

Canvas New Quizzes results view showing a multiple-answer question scored 0.667/1 point. Correct selections are highlighted in green with checkmarks (“Using short, clear sentences,” “Organizing ideas with headings or paragraphs,” “Using active voice when possible”). An incorrect selected answer (“Using complex words to sound more professional”) is highlighted in red. Feedback appears under each option; a red arrow points to the feedback section for the incorrect answer explaining that complex words reduce clarity.
