In this session, you’ll learn:

• How to use Item Banks in Canvas to build quizzes and exams

Item banks are reusable pool of questions. Item Banks can be imported from Blackboard, provided by a textbook publisher, created using existing quiz questions in your course, or created from scratch. You can also use them to randomize questions and answer choices, helping to discourage academic dishonesty while making quiz creation faster and more flexible.

Unlike Blackboard Pools, Item Banks are not tied to a single course and instead belong to a user, which means they can be managed and reused across multiple courses and shared more easily with colleagues.
